Rift-Tastic

I'm very bad at updating this page, I know. Mostly because it requires an active effort to remind myself. I've made some changes in an attempt to make it slightly easier for myself. For one, the "site blog" link now refers to the blogspot blog at http://b-jewelled.blogspot.com/. I'll be putting my update posts in there, and you should just get to see the most recent one on this page. That's the plan anyway. We'll see how it survives implementation.

At least I finally remembered to update the fanfic section. You'll see there are two shiny new fics under the Doctor Who/Torchwood category, as well as updating the reviews for Torchwood series two so we're caught up with BBC2. Well, we're not entirely caught up. Only the reviews for episodes seven, eight and nine are up. The recaps will be forthcoming, probably after the current series has concluded (sometime in the middle of next week).

Plans after that... well, I'm tempted to do the same thing for Doctor Who, since I've started to get to liking this whole recap/review thing. But I think I will also make it my project to go back and do series one of Torchwood. Might be especially fun to do in retrospect at the end of series two.

Let's see, what else is on the horizon. Ah yes. I went and ordered tickets to the one-day event The Rift in London at the end of April, which I'm starting to quite look forward to, although I'm being all woe-is-me about the fact that my friends are not great Torchwood fans. Screw you guys. I get to see James Marsters. Hahaha.

At some point, I'll also try to remember to put up some pictures from my trip around Ireland recently with a friend of mine. Trust me. There'll be a lot of rocks in the pictures. Oho! That's the other thing, I suppose. I'm currently doing an OU course in Geology. My first exam is due a week on Thursday and I'm so behind. God. This is like being back at college.
